QI Program
The Northside Hospital blood and marrow transplant, leukemia, and immunotherapy quality management program: Why is it important?
Superior survival rates and high patient satisfaction have been attained thanks to our culture of ongoing process improvement, open communication, and patient care improvement. Our quality management program is centered on raising the standard of care for our patients.
The program satisfaction survey gives patients and their caregivers the chance to share what worked well and what needs to be improved. This comprehensive quality process enables the program to improve treatment protocols, supportive care algorithms, and patient management.
The Northside Hospital Blood and Marrow Transplant, Leukemia and Immunotherapy inpatient unit satisfaction survey results are consistently above the 95th percentile for physician care, nursing care and overall hospital experience. *
